Client: Torridge District Council
Site: Kingsley Road, Bideford
Construction: Completion Summer 2019
Bideford skatepark was designed to be a low-level, interesting space with both ledges and transitions. Designed not to be necessarily be a traditional skatepark, but a space that incorporates many familiar skatepark forms in a space plan that encourages thought-provoking use. Collaboration with the local community was key, resulting in a skatepark that has been highly anticipated.
Varied level banks, leading to granite granite ledges and gaps, compliment rolled-lip transitions and bumps, finished off with pool coping and tiling  : )
Commissioned by Torridge District Council, we are very excited to see the this skatepark grow in popularity, which if the opening weekend is anything to go by.....it will be an amazing spot.

An amazing day was had at the (Summertime!) opening of Bideford Skatepark! A truly cherished spot for sure.

We look forward to going back soon.
