Client: Rushcliffe Borough Council
Site: Rushcliffe Country Park
Completion August 2021
A collaborative effort with local community groups and Council

Rushcliffe Country Park is set in beautiful South Nottinghamshire countryside. It has conservation woodlands, grasslands, wildflower meadows and varied active areas, connected by a large footpath network.

The new space was required to aesthetically compliment the surrounding Country park whilst incorporating a layout that would meet the detailed needs of the local community, found through consultation and close working with local groups, led by Skate Nottingham

The vision of the council, local community and groups gave CANVAS the ability to work together  to produce a design and build that has resulted in a space that is unique. Offering a different layout, the space compliments the surrounding skateparks, including many 'non-skatepark' forms, such as the car-park double kerb, alongside detailed blended transitions.
