A consultation, design and construction company, specialising in the construction of concrete skateparks and their associated spaces.
Formed in 2013, Canvas Spaces set out to provide services for our clients to realise their vision. Why Canvas ‘Spaces’ and not Canvas ‘skateparks’? Two-fold: We envisioned skateparks, in their traditional sense, as an area beyond the skatepark as a facility. We also recognised the opportunity and potential for complimenting traditional skatepark facilities, with skateable/rideable spaces - where the skatepark and public space lines blur. We have pioneered the term ‘space’ which has since become common language in skatepark design.
With a professionally qualified team of skaters, BMXers and industry professionals, we are able to navigate the challenges and opportunities of skatepark development. As a result, we have proudly produced some of the UK’s best wheeled sports facilities, whilst pushing design and build development.

Canvas' design team is made up of professionally qualified concrete skatepark designers with many years’ experience both in skatepark design and use. Our design philosophy is: ‘It is your canvas.’ The vision is shaped with the community through co‑design workshops, and open dialogue. We develop each project together.
