Coal Drops Yard

Contracted by main contractors Maylim, Canvas were part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering a distinctive public space within London’s new Coal Drops Yard - a traffic-free destination in the heart of central London. Our role focused on the construction phase of the Carve design, drawing on our specialist team experience in complex concrete shaping, helping realise the design intent with precision, build quality, and compliance.

The completed facility blends social seating, skatepark elements, and ball sports areas into an inviting, multi-use environment. It stands as a case study in how wheeled sports can be successfully integrated into the public realm—balancing aesthetics, function, and community use.
