Located in Peacehaven, this skatepark is one of the best on the south coast of England. CANVAS closely consulted the local steering group in order to reach a final design that was inclusive to all and would remain interesting for many years to come.

The Sundial feature is a useable, working sundial, inspired by the fact that the skatepark sits on the Zero degrees meridian line. The result is a centre-piece that distinguishes the skatepark with its unique and recognisable feature.

Completed in 2015, Peacehaven skatepark consists of over 600m2 of float-finish concrete to create a variety of forms. These include a combi-style bowl, curb island manual pad, and a steep pocketed transition. Perhaps the most striking feature of this skatepark is the sundial centrepiece, comprised of a quarter and a flat bank set back-to-back
